International Conference Management of Technology – Step to Sustainable Production (MOTSP 2012), will take place from 14-16 June 2012 in Zadar, Croatia as a joint project organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture and Faculty of Graphical Arts both from the University of Zagreb, Croatia, Faculty of Management, University of Primorska, Koper and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor, Slovenia, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Macedonia, and Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
The main objective of this Conference is to gather international experts from academic entities, research laboratories and industries related to the field of Management of Technology and Sustainable Production. The Conference will also provide a platform for sharing knowledge, ideas and results between science and industry.
The management of technology, stimulation of innovation and invention and transfer of technology are important challenges of the developed countries and countries in transition.

Dr. Andrew Kusiak is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa.Dr. Kusiak serves on editorial boards of numerous journals, edits book series, and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing.
Abdelaziz Bouras is Professor at the University of Lyon (France) and Deputy Director of the DISP research laboratory, also Editor-In-Chief of the International Journal of Product Lifecycle Management. His current research interests are related to architectures and open standards for sustainable product information/knowledge exchange.
Prof Jerbic is a Full Professor and a Chair in the Department of Robotics and Manufacturing System Automation, teaching Assembly System Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Programming Automata and others. His research is oriented to AI in robotics, particularly to behaviouristic problems. Also Associate Editor of FAMENA.
Greys Sosic is an associate professor of operations management in the Information and Operations Management Department at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. She holds a PhD in management science from the University of British Columbia. Greys is an Associate Editor for MSOM, IIE Transactions, POMS, and the Decision Sciences Journal.
Matjaz Mulej is retired from University of Maribor; Professor Emeritus, Systems and Innovation Theory. He has more than 1.600 publications in over 40 countries, more than 60 publications in world-top journals, and more than 100 citations, of which over 60 in world-top journals.
